WORK TYPE: Full Time (1.0 FTE) - 80 Hours Bi-Weekly; 40W Overtime
Directs and supervises support staff of the Department of Oral Maxillofacial Surgery. Assures that patients are treated with concern and that providers are provided with prompt and courteous service.
Performs duties to provide the highest level of patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
Reports to the Operations Manager.
COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Demonstrates flexibility in response to unexpected changes in workload, staffing and scheduling.
Demonstrates ability to work independently, set priorities, multi task and provide problem resolution.
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide leadership, effective communication, problem solving and implementation of change.
Demonstrates detailed knowledge of Medical Records, scheduling, registration and secretarial procedures.
Demonstrates leadership skills and ability to foster good interpersonal relationships.
Demonstrates understanding of office systems, patient flow and nursing procedures.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Current Pennsylvania RN license, ACLS and BLS certification required.
Minimum one year experience in a clinical setting required. Minimum one year supervisory experience preferred.
If directly responsible for clerical staff, attendance at all Key Access Personnel (KAPS) training classes required.

Work is typically performed in a clinic office environment.
